If you have peered into my books, you may have noticed a scattering of acrostics in latter volumes. In Moongold Wings my favorite is The DAISY remedy, inspired by my grandmother Daisy who had a prayer for every occasion. "Devotion Always Instantly Strengthens You"

The acrostic challenge is a simple and fun way to guide our thoughts toward a specific goal. I often select a word and expand it as a form of worship.

GRACE

God gives you
Right when you need it
A dose of what you need
Clearly indicating
Execution is blessed

HELP

Holy Spirit
Ever present
Let this too
Pass with ease

AFFIRM

At the time when
Fear closes in
Fashion your prayer
In the name of Jesus
Repeat the words that
Make you strong
